Northwest Florida Welcomes Only Luxury, Full-Service Marina Providing Mooring for Yachts Up To 300-feet
OKALOOSA ISLAND, Fla. (September 12, 2024) - Sunset Isle Yacht Club, located on
Okaloosa Island on the south side of Choctawhatchee Bay, is now accepting boaters for
their new, luxury marina that is the only full-service marina in Northwest Florida that can
provide mooring for yachts up to 300-feet.
Spanning over nine acres on the Choctawhatchee Bay, situated on a 12-foot wide by
1,400-foot-long pier, Sunset Isle’s Marina features 144 slips ranging from 40-feet to
120-feet in length, and up to 26-feet wide.
The Marina offers a variety of amenities for boaters and members that sets it apart from
others in the area, including two separate, ultra high-speed fueling stations, shore
power from 30 to 200 AMPs, in slip pump out system, 30,000 to 50,000-pound Neptune
first class vessel lifts with up to 120,000-pound lifts available, as well as oversized
finger-pier walkways extending to the end of each slip so owners can have access to
the entire vessel, bow to stern.
The marina also offers 24-hour video surveillance so owners can view their boat from
their phone or computer. In addition to the amenities, the location of the marina is ideal
for an avid boater. Sunset Isle is located directly off Highway 98 and is three miles from
Crab Island and Harbor Walk Village. Boaters are also only three and half miles from
the east pass to access the Gulf of Mexico.
“Being an owner of all types and size vessels for over 35 years, I feel this marina was
designed to provide the newest bells and whistles to support anyone’s vessel from 25’
to 300’ in size,” said Sunset Isle owner, Robert Guidry.
The Marina, managed by Coastal Marine Management, will be led by general manager
Bryan Rydzewski, who brings over 35 years of experience in the industry including 20
years as a marine law enforcement officer, a licensed 100-Ton Boat Captain, and Tow
Boat Us owner.
“My specialty is opening new marinas and helping foster a sense of community among
all of the boat owners,” Rydzewski said. “Sunset Isle is in a premier location and offers

While the rest of the yacht club is being developed, a private beach, ship store,
restrooms, ice plant, and services building will all be available. Future plans for the
yacht club include a resort-style pool, recreational facilities, lawn areas, full-service bar
and restaurant, and much more.
